nursing instructor to the process and be able to assess the pupil’s capability to do so. Critical
thinking as it relates to nursing can be defined as an important and proper tool. Accountability
and quality of care. In my opinion critical thinking is very important because without it you can
not properly care for your patient, so critical thinking is literally critical. . Developing critical
thinking skills is a major concern for nursing instructors because it is a liability. Nursing
instructors must really lean in and get to know the pupil to really know if they have the skill of
critical thinking. Nursing pupils continue to graduate today even though they do not have. The
proper critical thinking skills necessary to begin safe and high-quality nursing practice nursing.
students that graduate may think they have critical thinking skills but, we never know what we
are going to be faced with once in the nursing field, that is why we have to stay on our toes.
