For this project, you will create a “library of functions” scrapbook using Word or PPT. You will submit
it at the end of the course by Wednesday of Week 8, 11:59pm.

Each function page must include: (7 points per function)
• Name of the function (1 point)
• Description of the “shape” (1 point)
• Definition / formula of the parent function (1 point)
• For the piecewise function, give the parent function that makes up each piece.
• 2 real-world examples of the shape of the function (you can get pictures off of internet or
magazines) (2 points)
• The parent function should be highlighted in each picture and the axes clearly marked (2
points)
